Subrosa began life as White Static somewhere around 1998. White Static, a webzine, featured two writers, Rasciana Rojas-Saum and Lauren Bernier, and one artist, Lauren Bernier.

The 'zine changed its name in 2005 and found a new life, and a new attitude, as Subrosa. Subrosa features indie art, music, film, How-to articles, columns, and more.
